About Me

I have been sailing all of my life. I come from a long line of sailors and my father taught me how to sail. I started sailing on my own small dingy when I was 10.

After serving for 5 years as a Boatswains mate in the U.S. Coast Guard, I had the opportunity to fulfill my childhood dream of sailing to tropical Islands.  I have logged over 35,000 miles in the Pacific ocean, sailing throughout French Polynesia and Micronesia.

In the past year and a half I have been serving with Youth With a Mission (YWAM Ships).  After completing the lecture phase of my Discipleship Training School (DTS) in December of 2013, I served as Captain of the 74foot Ketch the Hawaii Aloha.  We sailed 9,000 miles through Kiribati and the Marshall Islands.  We brought Medical services and the Love of God to some of the most remote Islands on the planet.

I am currently leading the Fleet Support office in Kona, Hawaii and will be leading the School of Navigation and Seamanship (SONS) in the Fall.  see www.ywamships.net

All of the Staff in YWAM raise their own support.  If you would like to partner with me in bringing hope to the remote Islands of Micronesia please click on the how to give tab.

Thank you for your prayers and support.
